GCCT-SHT2.0
GCCT-SHT 2.0: The Future of Cell Thawing is Here
The GCCT-SHT 2.0 is an ultra-high throughput, water-free, and fully automatic cell thawing instrument designed to address the challenges of traditional water bath methods, such as cross-contamination, temperature fluctuations, and human error. Developed by GROCELLBIO, this device offers a smarter, safer, and more efficient solution for laboratories with high-volume thawing needs. It is specifically designed for research institutions, biobanks, and corporate R&D departments.

Key Features
Safety The GCCT-SHT 2.0 eliminates the high risk of contamination associated with traditional water baths, ensuring the safety of your samples. Its water-free and disinfectable exterior effectively control biological contamination.
Intelligence & Ease of Use Operation is straightforward, controlled via a touch screen or physical buttons. The instrument features a smart, press-sensing mechanism that automatically starts the preset thawing program when a cryovial is placed in the holder. Users can also set their own thawing conditions and integrate the device into automated cell culture equipment.
Standardization With built-in standard control programs, the GCCT-SHT 2.0 ensures the thawing process is consistent and controllable, eliminating subjective user judgments. The real-time temperature is monitored by an infrared sensor at a frequency of 1 Hz, and the temperature is dynamically adjusted to ensure precision.
Data Traceability The software automatically saves key parameters, including the thawing curve and temperature data. This data can be easily exported via USB, making it compliant with cGMP and GLP data integrity requirements.
Core Technology
The GCCT-SHT 2.0 utilizes a combination of advanced technologies to ensure optimal performance.
- Dry Heating: This technology uses a high-thermal conductivity aluminum alloy sample holder combined with a resistance heating tube to provide rapid and uniform heating. This method eliminates the need for daily water system maintenance and prevents the growth of water-borne contaminants like algae.
- Active Sample Protection: Once the thawing process is complete, the heating module automatically detaches from the cryovial, preventing the sample from overheating and maximizing cell viability.
- Closed-Loop Temperature Control: An internal infrared (IR) temperature sensor constantly monitors the cryovial's surface temperature and adjusts the heating power in real time.
